The NYE Party With Streetheart

On December 31st, 2024, I had the honour of Photographing Streetheart for the second time, and boy oh boy was it ever a party. Streetheart was performing at the Century Casino in Edmonton, the entire show was completely Sold out and was the best show I had been to in a long while.
They started the show with the Iconic song “Action”, as soon as the cymbals started playing the audience rushed to the dance floor to get closer and make it an even bigger party. One of my favourite moments was as soon as Spider started his Bass solo everyone knew that it was leading to them playing “Teenage Rage”, Everyone started singing along, it was so loud you could barely hear Paul Mcnair singing that’s how loud everyone was, which shows that this legendary band has a very powerful and an emotional connection with not only the music but with the lyrics as well. When it came to the countdown to midnight the band started counting down from 10… and as soon as they hit one, a confetti canon went off.
Streetheart made an amazing choice The Bobby Cameron Band to open for them. Bobby Cameron put on one heck of a show before Streetheart, He brought a lot of energy to the stage and engaged quite a bit with the audience. Bobby did a variety of Blues and Rock music, which I found very fascinating and never heard before.
2025 will be year number 49 for this Iconic band, which means more energy will be brought not only to the stage but also to you all as well. I cannot wait to see what year 50 will bring in 2026 and how big of a party will be thrown.
